JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Nittany Success Center at Penn State York invites applicants for the opening of part-time Academic Success Coach (ASC). This opportunity will directly serve students by offering them key information and strategies to identify, manage, and reach their goals. The ASC builds a proactive relationship with each student to provide structure, support, and feedback. The successful applicant will empower students to identify and achieve their educational, personal, and professional goals through guided coaching sessions and by connecting them with resources within and beyond the Nittany Success Center. They work collaboratively with students to identify their strengths, challenges, and learning preferences and develop effective strategies to overcome obstacles. The ASC fosters a supportive and positive learning environment that promotes motivation, accountability, and success while focusing on time management, organizational skills, self-regulation, and self-efficacy.
