The Senior Surgical Posting Secretary accurately posts, cancels, reschedules and coordinates all surgeries/procedures for all units covered by Surgical Posting. Prepares schedules and reports as required. Maintains good working relationships with physicians and assisting in maximizing optimal utilization of available posting time. Supervises, schedules and assists surgical posting secretary. Utilizes excellent interactional and telephone communication skills.

Work Location: Washington D.C. This position will require you work on-site at our Washington DC campus during your 90 day probationary period. Eventually you will start at 2 days a week from home for 1 month, then 3 days from home for 1 month, then completely remote, except for vacation/illness coverage and possibly monthly staff meetings.

8:30am - 5pm

Minimum Education and Experience:




  1. High School graduate required.
  2. Minimum of one (1) year previous experience
  3. Experience in a senior secretarial position desirable.
  4. Experience in a health care environment preferred.


Salary Range: Minimum 18.29 per hour - Maximum 30.18 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
