Retail Senior Financial Analyst
Flexible Hybrid

Position Overview:
As a member of the Retail Finance Team, the Senior Financial Analyst will combine their technical financial skills and strong communication skills to partner with their business teams to drive business value. The successful candidate will have the long-term foresight to optimize financials for their business. Focus will be both strategic and tactical to achieve targeted near and long-term goals and objectives.

Flexible Work Schedule: Opportunityfor Hybrid schedule after training; Summer Hours Available Memorial Day through Labor Day (half day Fridays).

Responsibilities:
  • Business partnering with commercial team to drive growth and profitability
    • Be a leading member of new product development teams that launch products meeting key strategic and financial goals
    • Develop financial models and analyses to promote financial acumen and critically evaluate new products, including pricing, promotions, and distribution.
    • Influence all levels of the organization through impactful communications, passion, business partnering and collaboration
    • Continuously learn the business including competitive landscape, sales and marketing strategies, and operations and supply chain as you work with members across functions.
  • Financial reporting and analysis
    • Lead the financial analysis and reporting of the new product portfolio, in support of Integrated Business Planning - a monthly planning process that extends the entire value chain of a business
    • Demonstrate capability to use insights from reporting to influence, present strategies and enhance business operations
    • Provide financial guidance and support for subsidiary
    • Support month-end processes, monthly forecasting, and the annual operating plan
  • Decision support and special projects
    • Support the U.S. Retail business unit with financial analysis, business cases, strategy execution and support the sales and marketing teams with key decision making
    • Lead the financial business case for growth/capacity capital investments
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required

Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting and/or finance experience required
  • SAP and BPC knowledge a plus
  • Previous experience in CPG industry a plus
Skills and Competencies:

  • Desire and ability to be a thought leader while also working on early phase, high potential/high risk projects

  • Developed organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated self-starter, ongoing self-growth and development; advancement potential and desire
Member Status: Full Time, Salaried

Travel: Not a ton, less than 10% of your time
