- Get Involved! You will identify problems and work cooperatively to develop and implement solutions throughout the system. Use your teamwork and collaborationg skills to work with other Risk-related functions such as Safety, Workers' Compensation, Claims and Education to develop and implement proactive risk management, patient safety, and loss prevention strategies and techniques.

Experience: 1. Minimum of three years healthcare experience in an acute care hospital required. 2. Minimum of three years Risk Management experience in a healthcare setting preferred. 3. Education and /or teaching experience optimal. 4. Familiarity with and ability to work with databases, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, communication, and internet applications required. 5. Knowledge of all phases of patient care, hospital policies, procedures and healthcare laws generally acquired through education and/or experience. 6. Familiarity with The Joint Commission standards and DOH, COPs, OSHA Regulations.
Education: 1. Bachelors' degree in a healthcare-related field required. 2. BSN preferred.
Licensures/Certifications: 1. Current Pennsylvania clinical licensure preferred. 2. Certification in Healthcare Risk Management preferred. 3. Certification in Patient Safety preferred.
