Here's what you'd do:

  • The Campaign Associate will support the planning, organizing, implementation, and successful completion of all campaigns within an assigned group of accounts in the Resource Development department.
  • They assist the client's staff in developing and implementing workplace campaigns.
  • Campaign Associates lend their expertise and energy to help the client expand their efforts, reach new markets, and broaden the base of community giving.
  • Meets with (Employee Campaign Managers) (ECMs) and campaign committees to plan, organize, and schedule employee campaigns, maintaining continuous contact to support leadership, guidance, and direction.
  • Validate account information for each campaign/prospect and collect payments and pledges during and after the campaign.
  • Makes calls for initial contact of individuals/groups/organizations for campaign solicitation.
  • Emphasizes the use of model best practice employee campaign fundraising techniques and suggests improvements and strategies to meet fundraising goals
  • Facilitates delivery of campaign materials and arranges for speakers, videos, and agency tours to demonstrate the client's mission and work.
  • Attends workplace campaign meetings and presents client's message and mission at employee group meetings.
  • Ensures campaigns stay on track and ECMs report results per the timetable.
  • Tracks and reports changes in account contact information for the Donor Services team.
  • Writes all appropriate correspondence.
  • Completes the required campaign tracking documents and evaluation forms.
  • Verifies, updates, and maintains account information for each assigned account in Andar (CRM platform).
  • Research businesses, prospects, and lapsed accounts as needed by the Resource Development team.
  • Documents all conversations, contacts, or activities in individual and corporate accounts.
  • Makes phone calls as needed to confirm/update data, including campaign dates, thank donors, and invite donors to upcoming events.
  • Organizes and manages campaign supply inventory (brochures, posters).
  • Responsible for aligning behavior, leadership, and commitment with the client's needs, priorities, goals, and culture.
  • Creates an atmosphere that respects and embraces the engagement of all people, ideas, and backgrounds and aligns with the client's values.
  • Manages multiple projects and tasks.
  • Effectively manages time and resources to respond to emerging needs while continuing to deliver on organizational goals, objectives, and timelines, and seeks help when needed in juggling priorities.
  • Success is measured in part by the attainment of a dollar goal.
  • Serves (treats) all interactions with donors and prospective donors with the utmost respect and responsiveness to deepen relationships and advance the client's mission.

Pay: $20/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in progressively more responsible job-related positions in fundraising and sales.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Sales, customer service, or account management experience.
  • The individual must be able to work a flexible schedule, have basic business knowledge, and professionally represent oneself and positively represent the client.
  • Must be a team player, organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow through on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Needed to drive to various accounts in client.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Mileage reimbursement provided.
  • Skills in verbal communication are necessary, including clear presentation of information and the ability to influence others.
  • Must be able to communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization.
  • Must be able to use basic computer programs, such as Word and Excel.
  • Excels at customer service.
  • Drives for results.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

  • The environment for this position is an open office that is clean and comfortable.
  • The position is in a non-confined office-type setting where they can move about at will and may include minor annoyances such as noise, odors, and drafts.
  • This position will have prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • The individual in the course of performing this position spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, seeing (such as close, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.
