Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer Location: Conshohocken, PA Duration: Permanent Work Schedule: Hybrid role - onsite in Conshohocken 2-3 days/week. Responsibilities: Design medium and low voltage power distribution systems, emergency generation, lighting, and hazard classified areas for life science facilities including labs, controlled environment storage, and pilot plant production buildings. Perform engineering and design of facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, equipment & construction specifications, and hazardous area classifications. Conduct calculations and evaluations for equipment and systems in industrial applications. Ensure construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, codes, standards, and customer requirements. Maintain communication with project team members and customers. Utilize engineering and design software to perform tasks. Conduct tier reviews of project deliverables to ensure accuracy, conformance to codes, specifications, and good engineering practices. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program. PE, Professional Engineer license required. 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering design of buildings. Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC). Ability to perform power system studies including short circuit, load flow, protective coordination, and arc flash studies. Experience in providing leadership and guidance to less experienced staff members. Life Science and/or advanced manufacturing facility electrical design experience. Working knowledge of Revit, BIM software, Smartplant, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu. Relocation: Relocation considered for the right candidate. International relocation will be considered for licensed PE. Visa candidates will be considered if licensed PE.
