The work you do ensures that we are able to maintain our demanding production schedules so that we can continue to provide our customers with industry-leading scientific instruments.



Responsibilities

    Unload and process in-bound orders for receipt in SAP
  • Inspect inbound shipments for damage or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel
  • Operate forklift, dolly/pallet jack to load and unload material
  • Working knowledge and ability to use Windows operating system and Microsoft based programs, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Review, and pack orders for shipment.
  • Process orders for shipment in standard courier system software e. Fedex, UPS
  • Monitor, and order shipping supplies
  • Store sub-assemblies and raw materials in warehouse.
  • Pick orders and material for other departments according to pick list and material requisitions.
  • Assist with daily cycle counting and inventory accuracy objectives.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as necessary.
  • Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental standards
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Time management skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be have a current and valid forklift certification
  • Experience with SAP Material Movement module is preferred
  • Knowledge of Export compliance regulations preferred
  • Experience and understanding of warehouse operations, and ability to apply that knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks
  • Excellent clerical, data entry skills to maintain integrity of inventory accuracy in database, file records and perform routine audits
  • Ability to resolve issues and make recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow daily standard work instructions with minimal supervision, and general instructions on newly introduced assignments
  • Working knowledge and ability to use Windows operating system and Microsoft based programs, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Must be able to work standing, sitting and walking for the majority of a scheduled shift.
  • Must be able to push cart holding up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • May be asked to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Job requires frequent bending, stooping and kneeling
  • Minimum of 3-years related Warehouse experience required.
  • Experience in fast pace technical manufacturing environment required

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $48,000.00/yr.and $74,000.00/yr. and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
