Starting pay is $23.00/hr plus .035 shift differential, increasing to 26.87/hr plus .035 as you gain skills and knowledge.

Hours are 7pm-5am Monday through Thursday, overtime shifts and short Friday shifts happen with little notice.

Job Summary- Operate the core machine to make high quality core for Hexacomb in a safe and efficient manner. Full training provided.

Job requirements



  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be able to read at an acceptable level.
  • Must be able to do basic math including multiplication and division.
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends and Holidays as needed.


Job responsibilities



  • Follow all safety rules and policies, make suggestions to improve safety and look out for others. Work to improve our safety culture.
  • Set up and run the core machine, including loading and unloading paper rolls, glue manifold preparation, cutting section operation, racking finished core and staging finished racks.
  • Be able to run independently.
  • Be able to troubleshoot and fix quality issues quickly.
  • Enter data and scan tags into the IQMS system.
  • Be proficient at scanning and help keep inventory accurate.
  • Assist other departments when needed.
