What will you be doing?

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive, gather information such as name, check guest's reservations or log them is as set up
• Politely take guests to table, hand them menus, wine list, and inform them who their server will be, inform them of specials and leave with a courteous greeting
• Receive, record, and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant
• Assist with all to-go orders
• Participate in setting up of dining room and buffets
• Act as a cashier for Dining Room
• Responsible for coat check
• Assist with banquet event orders for private functions
• Maintain restroom facilities at beginning and throughout shift
• Maintain all cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene
• Perform other duties, as assigned

What do you bring to the role?

• No prior experience required
• Prior hospitality experience, preferred
• Flexible schedule, preferred
• Cash handling experience, preferred
• Ability to read, speak, and write the English language, to fully comprehend guest requests, memos, and reservations
• Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and position manner. This involves listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive proactive solutions
• Ability to work POS system
• Maintain a clean environment and ensure area is always organized

Pay Estimate: $17.00/hour
