Position Description Summary:
The George Washington University School of Business ( GWSB) invites applications for a specialized teaching position at the rank of Teaching Assistant Professor in Finance starting as early as Fall 2024. This is a full-time contractual position for 3 academic years and may be renewed.
We invite applications from candidates with strong teaching credentials in the field of finance.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will teach a six-course load, and perform service for the Department and School.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Doctorate degree in a relevant field and extensive experience teaching advanced finance classes at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Applicants must present evidence of teaching excellence. The successful candidate is expected to have excellent quantitative skills in areas such as AI, machine learning, fintech, crypto currencies, structured finance, or similar fields.
Advertised Salary: $125,000 to $150,000 (commensurate with experience)
