Human Resources Manager Emergency Medicine Full Time 81787BR Job Summary The Human Resources Manager uses advanced administrative concepts and organization objectives to provide critical support and resolve complex issues. The individual oversees Human Resources and Academic Affairs functions in planning, project management, and personnel management for the Department of Emergency Medicine. The HR Manager reports to the Director of Operations and partners with DEM Leadership team. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/compensation-and-benefits/index.html Department Description The Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM) provides emergency medical care to over 175,000 patients annually at the UCSF Medical Center at Parnassus, UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals at Mission Bay and Oakland, and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center. DEM administrative and research staff supports the work of 90 full-time faculty and 50+ part-time attending physicians, a residency program, fellowship programs and over 300 house staff and students each year.
