About the Role:
The Franchising Specialist will be responsible for taking in transfers files, review and process from initiation stage through to consent research. They will also play a key role in conducting background and credit checks where and when appropriate.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Review transfer submissions into platform to determine buyer status (new versus existing) and request documents that are required but not submitted as well as information provided into the platform; Confirm receipt and application of transfer fee.
  • Update SUBS with Transfers Details - adding in the Buyer, sale data and transfer fee information into the relevant screens
  • Conduct background check investigation, credit check and OFAC check when applicable.
  • Conduct Consent Research - Review Franchise Agreement and Lease documents, determination of all monies which may be due and owing by both buyer and seller; review any pending defaults or past due requirements including remodels and equipment. Issue and receive Buyer & Seller Acknowledgment executed by both seller and buyer.
  • Continual update of checklist, platform and SUBS confirming all research is complete, transfer is approved and ready to be passed along to the Franchise Contract Management Team to complete transfer or discussions had with Field Operations Team and Legal to recommend denial of the transfer request.


Qualifications:



  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and DocuSign preferred. Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.

Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, qualifications, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
