STANDALE HOME STUDIO LOCATION 4046 Lake Michigan Dr, Walker, MI PURPOSE Under direct supervision handles and maintains the flow of materials and products on the premises according to established guidelines. Our delivery team is critical to the success of our client experience. This role will deliver flooring & finished cabinetry into homes around West Michigan. Pride in work is a daily requirement as these projects are the heart of the home. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Role Expectations Delivery of flooring and cabinetry (jobsite drops and in-home carrying) Customer service skills to effectively field or direct questions to the right party Light property maintenance (mowing, changing lights, shoveling) Product pickup from various locations Ability to manage time and follow a schedule Basic Organizational ability Basic shipping and receiving practices Use of power equipment Comfortable in driving in various conditions at delivery sites Schedule flexibility Ability to assist customers/installers/salespeople with pulling product SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES There are many times when this role may be overseeing all of the warehouse if our warehouse manager is unavailable. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). This is an entry level position where incumbent will receive on-the-job training. COMPETENCIES Knowledge of and ability to use motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment, including large box truck. Manual dexterity Knowledge of safety procedures while performing materials handling tasks Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ACTIVITY The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
