Staffmark Drivers has partnered with a Sumner, WA company to offer an exciting Class A and Non-CDL Yard Hostler position opportunity.

Looking for a positive and skilled worker to join our established team!

Pay Rate:

Class A $30.25 - $30.50 per hour

Non-CDL $27.25 - $27.50

Job Responsibilities:



  • Operate a yard goat/yard mule to move trailers within the company's yard.
  • Proficiently perform blindside backing maneuvers within tight spaces.
  • Transfer trailers between docks, swapping empty trailers with loaded ones.
  • Conduct thorough pre and post-trip inspections, ensuring safety measures like wheel chocking are followed.
  • Handle 50-75 trailer moves per shift in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications:



  • No more than 3 moving violations and accidents in the past 3 years.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Minimum 12 months of verifiable yard hostler experience.
  • Must be at least 23 years old.
