Job Summary
The Harbert College of Business is seeking a student employee to assist with administration, lecture preparation, communication, and grading for the Lowder Center and its initiatives.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with Lowder Center staff to raise awareness and impact of Lowder Center initiatives.
  • Create slides and other educational content for Lowder Center programs.
  • Assist with grading and evaluation of participant learning in various Lowder Center initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders regarding entrepreneurial workshops.
  • Assist with participant communications via email, phone, or Canvas as needed.
  • Add content to Canvas to improve student learning.
  • Assist with research and data-tracking projects as needed.
  • Assist with event operations as needed.
  • Potentially lead one or more workshops on an entrepreneurially related topic of personal interest.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled graduate student at Auburn University.

Expectations:

  • Ability to work individually as well as cooperatively with others.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Some experience with Canvas or other LMS tools.
  • A strong eye for detail and/or some experience with grading.
  • Some experience with instruction and/or training.
  • Some knowledge of design principles.
  • Commitment and motivation to learn.
  • Dependability, multi-tasking, and the ability to switch priorities based on departmental needs.


Preferred Qualifications
Pay Rate $15.00 - 18.00/hour
Work Hours 10-20 hours/week. May accommodate student scheduling.
