Job Summary: Candidate must be licensed. The Supervisor-Behavioral Health Grant manages clinic flow and operations as it relates to mental health services provided through the Resiliency Institute for Childhood Adversity (RICA) and Children's Assessment Center (CAC). This position oversees the policies and procedures for clinical therapists and student interns, and provides clinical supervision to assigned staff. Oversees patient diagnosis, care plans, and consent, and ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory reporting requirements. The supervisor will assist with grants related to the mental health program, and assist with the vision and growth of the mental health team at LLU. Additionally, this position will lead and facilitate weekly case reviews with all clinical therapists and provide appropriate training for collaborative partners. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Master's Degree in Behavioral Science (psychology, counseling, social work, or other related field) required. Three years of job related experience delivering trauma informed practices in a behavior health setting or an acute psychiatric facility with specific age population required. One year of supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Broad knowledge of quality, patient safety, performance improvement, regulatory requirements, medical staff structure, peer review and legal aspects of care. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; provide leadership; be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; work independently; perform basic math and statistical functions; manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position. Licensures and Certifications: Current licensure issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science required, including Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP).
