Job Summary

The department of Environmental and Occupational Health (EOH), in the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health, is recruiting for a post-doctoral researcher to focus on climate-related exposures (e.g. ozone, extreme temperature), children's health, and community assets/resilience.

Essential Functions



  • Design and implement epidemiologic analyses
  • Identify and process GIS-based community data, and regulatory air monitoring data
  • Draft manuscripts, abstracts
  • Deliver scientific presentations
  • Interact with community advisory and incorporate input into study design
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications



  • A PhD or doctorate is required.
  • 0-3 years of experience.
  • GIS, and experience in statistical modeling using SAS or R.

  • Hybrid/Flexible Work Arrangement - Philadelphia, PA


Additional Information

This position is classified as exempt, grade I. Compensation for this grade ranges from Minimum: $ 41,120.00 to Maximum: $ 61,680.00 per year. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
