Database Administrator Washington, DC - Hybrid MUST: Active TS/SCI eligible clearance Experienced Database Administrator 6+ years of experience in database administration and management required 5+ years of experience using SQL tools to monitor daily database activity and health required Experience creating complex SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Views, Cursors and User Defined Functions to implement business logic required Experience providing primary support to various business critical SQL Server applications required Knowledge of migrating, backing up, and restoring databases in place or to new environments required Familiarity with other relational database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc required Experience overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of PostgreSQL databases in Kubernetes and Linux environment required Experience with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud services (Azure, AWS) required Experience CI & CD development experience with technologies like Gitlab, Bash or Jenkins required Proficiency in SQL and experience with PL/pgSQL or similar procedural language required Experience with Linux/Unix and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Json required Ablity to support and troubleshoot RDBMS platforms on Linux, Kubernetes and Windows environment required Experience executing utility requirements such as reorganization, back-up, and recovery preferred Experience analyzing and resolving database system production problems preferred Experience analysing user requirements, statistics, and participate in database design and performance evaluation reviews preferred Experience advising system engineers on database coding issues preferred Experience preparing system documentation preferred Security + certification required BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics required DUTIES: Provide daily interface with and communications support Work with a highly qualified technical team Develop new applications and maintain legacy apps Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
