JOB SUMMARY PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION WILL BE IN FORT WORTH. Under general supervision, provide skilled services and operation of a commercial vehicle ("tractor-trailer", "18-wheeler", or other similar commercial vehicle) as a mobile clinic throughout the North and Central Texas regions. Moncrief Cancer Institute is a part of UT Southwestern Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center, which is the only National Cancer Institute-designated center in North Texas. - Drives to and from events SAFELY.
- Conducts pre-event inspections by reviewing the route to and from all event locations beforehand to identify any potential obstacles such as low overpasses, trees, railroad tracks, or construction.
- Evaluates each event site to determine the safest and most accessible parking location, taking into consideration staff safety, restroom accessibility, site restrictions, and leveling requirements.
- Prepares post-event paperwork and distributes to coordinating staff prior to event.
- Oversees all regular maintenance of state vehicles (commercial/non-commercial) such as monitoring and managing vehicle fuel levels.
- As required, performs all state inspection/vehicle registrations, generator maintenance, empty and refill water tanks, clean vehicle interiors/exteriors, and minor interior/exterior repairs as able.
- Maintains/cleans vehicle housing.
- Coordinates and delivers to third-party vendors.
- Maintains required records for all vehicles as required by UTSW.

- Maintains required records for all vehicles as required by UT Southwestern and/or the state including fuel/maintenance receipts, fire extinguishers, emergency medical kit/AEDs, vehicle mileage, and maintenance logs.
- Ensures clinic interior is ready prior to event start time, including turning imaging and any other necessary equipment on each morning for warm up.
- Maintains and replenishes cleaning, office, and clinical supplies to ensure efficient operation of the mobile clinic.
- Attends all required meetings such as dept. staff meetings, event scouting/parking meetings with coordinating staff for parking approval, etc.
- Supports event marketing efforts by assisting with the preparation and distribution of promotional materials such as posters, service agreements, and all other essential communication documents.
- As needed, assists with checking in patients, preparing next day patient paperwork, completing confirmation calls, etc. Must maintain strict adherence to applicable local, state, and federal regulations as they pertain to patient care and privacy.
- Duties performed may include one or more of the following core functions: a) Directly interacting with or caring for patients; b) Directly interacting with or caring for human-subjects research participants; c) Regularly maintaining, modifying, releasing or similarly affecting patient records (including patient financial records); or d) Regularly maintaining, modifying, releasing or similarly affecting human-subjects research records.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
