Student Accessibility and Testing

Job Description

Student Accessibility and Testing provides resources, services, and support that promote opportunities for students and community members to reach their educational and professional goals. This includes facilitating accommodative services for students with disabilities and providing university and professional certification exam services. This key position provides business and administrative support that contributes to professional and efficient department operation.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for department accounts payable and receivable including timekeeping, maintaining financial records, inter-departmental billing, and processing testing service revenue
  • Maintain department calendars and schedule and coordinate meetings for department staff
  • Provide general office support including ordering office equipment and supplies, updating department websites, and submitting maintenance requests
  • Professionally interact and collaboratively work with a variety of constituents including students, faculty, staff, and community members
  • Respond to in-person, phone, and email inquiries
  • Provide Testing Center support as needed
  • Obtain and maintain certification to proctor all third-party exams administered in the Testing Center
  • Communicate with third party vendors to implement student accommodations
Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years experience providing office support is preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)
Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $15.00 to $19.92 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
