Responsibilities

The Clinical Program Manager is responsible for developing unit goals, objectives and Standards of Performance. Develops, coordinates and implements clinical and program activities. Directs the implementation and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, State and Federal requirement and standards which promote optimum health care delivery. Responsible for coordinating performance improvement activities, addressing deficits, identifying new problem areas and developing plans of action. Supervises Clinical Services staff.

Qualifications

Essential Core Functions:

  • Supervision of staff, including evaluations, performance management
  • New employee orientation and on-going training of program staff
  • Assisting with compliance observations and reporting
  • Represent RPH on external committees and initiatives
  • Represent RPH through marketing activities
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives
  • Provide clinical services to include assessment, group and individual therapy

Job Specifications:

  1. Education, Certification/Licensure, and/or Experience
  2. Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling
  3. Professional license in State of WV in applicable field (LICSW, LCSW, LGSW, LPC, Licensed Psychologist)
  4. Minimum three (3) years working within the medical/behavioral health setting. Minimum two (2) years in direct supervision of employees.
  5. Knowledge, skills, and abilities required
  6. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  7. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards
  8. Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments
  9. Knowledge of and an understanding of diagnostic categories, clinical presentation and treatment strategies for the populations served
  10. Ability to effectively motivate and supervise staff.
  11. Ability to work as a member of a larger team.
  12. Ability to effectively utilize Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other software to enhance work products and presentations.
