Parkwood Behavioral Health System provides behavioral health and chemical dependency services to the Mid-South region and has been in business since 1987. We are located in Desoto County, in the northwest corner of Mississippi and approximately 7 miles south of Memphis. Parkwood Behavioral Health System includes a 148-bed inpatient acute and residential care facility, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Visit us online at: https://parkwoodbhs.com/ The Business Development Representative is responsible for achieving optimal utilization of Parkwood's continuum of care by developing and maintaining direct referral relationships in the West Tennessee market. The Community Liaison provides Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Business Development Department. The Community Liaison participates in the Account Management system, assessing the needs of the customer and making the required number of marketing contacts to each account, in order to develop and maintain a long-term referral relationship which will generate a continuous flow of admissions to meet hospital census objectives. He/she plans events, provides tours, performs referral source in-services, acts as a liaison between the Referral Source and the hospital, and seeks out new business development opportunities for the hospital. Sales experience or clinical experience with a psychiatric mental health population required. Prefer experience in developing new territories in target markets with customer base. Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse terminology.
