What does the Director Portfolio Marketing do at Swire Coca-Cola?
The Director Portfolio Marketing will lead the strategic planning and execution of portfolio initiatives and product lifecycle management within our Marketing Excellence team. In this role you are responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies that drive the growth and success across all current and future beverage product categories. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the analysis of market trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for generating value for consumers and customers. Key skills to be successful in this role are a growth mindset, unconstrained creativity to win at the point of sale, and thoughtful, visionary leadership that can continually elevate a team and colleagues.

Responsibilities:



  • Lead portfolio planning processes and executing strategic marketing plans for the product portfolio, aligning with overall business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Build and manage product life cycle, product innovation management, and stage/gate process.
  • Lead, develop and inspire a marketing team by fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability, ensuring the team is aligned with overall business goals.
  • Partner with brand teams to ensure product development programs, including media strategies, that align with commercial objectives. Lead the execution of portfolio positioning, branding, and messaging strategies.
  • Direct marketing asset strategy and management for current prestige partnerships as well as identifying future partnerships that align with organization objectives.
  • Develop the portfolio positioning, branding, and messaging strategies to ensure sufficiency of marketing pipeline support consumer acquisition for long-term success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial Excellence, Sales, Operations, and Sustainability to ensure alignment and integration of portfolio planning and processes.
  • Track and report on budget performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget and ensure resource planning supports annual and multi-year plans.



Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required
  • Master's Degree in Business or Organizational Leadership preferred
  • 10+ years Sales operations, marketing/commercial strategy related field required
  • 8+ years Experience in CPG marketing, Category Development and/or Go-to market strategy required
  • 8+ years Project development strong preference to experience in beverage or fast-moving consumer product goods industry required
  • 8+ years Experience in brand management, advertising and promotional marketing required
  • 6+ years Experience sourcing and working with agencies and/or marketing support providers & vendors required
