Creighton University in Omaha, NE is seeking to hire a full-time Research Associate in Pharmacology and Neuroscience. This is a grant-funded position.

Key Responsibilities



  • Performs basic or applied research of a limited scope, primarily using existing theories and methods.
  • Assists in the interpretation and publication of results and grants.
  • Assists in initiating, executing and completing the research and experiments.
  • Prepares and writes research papers, presentations, grant proposals, etc. Primary responsibility is ensuring that the research is complete.
  • Performs a variety of tests requiring a high degree of proficiency.
  • Evaluates experimental results using complex statistical and multivariate analysis.



Qualifications



  • Graduate school degree required.
  • 5 years of research experience, preferably in cell and molecular biology, immunology, asthma or cancer.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel; PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays depending upon research needs.
