On a typical day, you'll be a role model for our youth, embodying the core values of the Y. You'll lead engaging activities, ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process, and team up with your colleagues to supervise groups of children, keeping safety and positive behavior at the forefront. Communication is key! You'll share important updates with your teammates and supervisors, document incidents as needed, and respond to the needs of the kids in your care. To succeed in this role, you should have a passion for working with children in recreational or educational settings. You know how to apply rules and provide gentle redirection to keep everyone safe.
