Overview

Serves as the primary administrator for the Workday system, responsible for configuration, maintenance, data loads, integrations and optimization. Manages Workday security configuration, business processes, and security administration. Manages security roles and domains for all users. Responsible for understanding the Workday roadmap and upcoming product releases, reviewing release notes, assessing new features, understanding the impacts on business processes and basic changes in functionality. Monitors system performance, troubleshoots issues, and resolves problems related to Workday functionality, data integrity, and system integrations. Maintains documentation related to system configurations, processes and user guides. Serves as primary training coordinator for all Workday users. Monitors and tracks progress on Workday and CVS support tickets and collaborates and supports functional leads with escalated issues. Troubleshoots complex issues or problems related to security and business process functionality.



Responsibilities

    Participates in strategy planning to implement new Workday functionality as needed based on Workday roadmap
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes and translate them to Workday system configurations and workflows. Proposes new solutions within existing functionality to address emerging needs. Collaborates with other team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within Workday.
  • Leads the configuration and maintenance of core Workday components, including, but not limited to, organizations, hierarchies, security roles, business processes, reports and integrations. Works in coordination with the IT security team regarding system access.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of Workday business processes, custom reports and analytics to support functional areas.
  • Provides end-user support and training, ensuring all team members can effectively use Workday and its features.
  • Leads system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for Workday updates, enhancement and integrations.
  • Assists in the design and implementation of new functionality.
  • Recommends, implements and plans for improvements, enhancements, and new applications to the Workday system.


Qualifications

BS in Accounting, Information Technology, or related field. Accounting experience preferred. Experience administering Workday, including system-level security, business processes and configurations. Thorough and highly technical understanding of Workday administration, particularly regarding functional configuration, reporting, security and integration.

Ability to critically analyze data input/output for accuracy and effectiveness. Effective communication, interpersonal skills, presentation, project management and organizational skills required. Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment. Demonstrated and proven skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail. Ability to organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
