Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Employee Benefits Account Coordinator

Location: Remote
Work Hours: 8am - 5pm (Can be flexible)
Classification: Non Exempt, Full-Time, Direct Hire
A global commercial insurance broker is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Employee Benefits Account Coordinator. This role focuses on ensuring client satisfaction by managing assigned business accounts and working closely with both insurance carrier representatives and an account manager.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate client eligibility requests via various online portals and benefits administration systems.
Serve as a liaison between insurance companies, providers, and employees to address claims, billing, and eligibility issues.
Obtain and present quotes from carriers, crafting insurance proposals for both prospective and current clients.
Prepare materials for open enrollment, including employee benefits booklets and application forms.
Provide outstanding customer service, resolving inquiries and issues efficiently.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
Deliver high-quality work, demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness at all times.
Perform additional duties as needed to support the team.
Qualifications:
Required: One or more years of Employee Benefits experience within an insurance brokerage.
Required: Active Life and Health insurance license.
Required: Fluency in Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
Excellent mathematical and analytical abilities.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
