Job Overview:

The Multi-Modal Technologist reports to the designated leader(s) within the Radiology/Imaging Department.

General Responsibilities:

  • Performs diagnostic procedures with skill and without requiring constant supervision.
  • Will require independent judgment and initiative of a technical level.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g. The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) standards and guidelines.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
  • Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • Diploma / Certification from certified school of Primary Imaging Modality required.
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a Radiology Technologist required, acute care experience preferred.
  • Six (6) months of experience required, acute care experience preferred.
  • Current Florida Radiology Technologist (CRT) license required.
  • Current American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
