Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans. Nevada Community Enrichment Program (NCEP), a service provided by ASI, is a highly recognized leader in the field of brain injury rehabilitation. We are currently seeking a Full time Rehab Tech to join our team. Rehab Techs provide assistance with mobility, activities of daily living, communication, and cognitive function. Some duties include - Follow clinic protocols and instruction by clinical staff/managers to provide assistance with mobility, transfers, toileting, hygiene, dressing, eating, memory compensation, orientation, communication, and related areas. Follow clinic protocols and instruction by clinical staff/managers to assist with the teaching and training of functional skills training. Communicate regularly with peers as required to convey information effectively and professionally to ensure that client needs and preferences are properly addressed. Maintain accurate charting/documentation as directed by clinical staff. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, and a minimum age of 18 (as required by the State of Nevada). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to self-motivate and effectively manage time and shift priorities. Ability to effectively communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Must be able to read, write, hear, understand, and speak English in order to ensure accurate communication and documentation. Ability present in a professional manner. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals. Previous related health care training or experience a plus and valid driver's license and the ability to transport clients in ASI vehicles a plus! We want you to join our team!
