Summary of Primary Functions: Plans, coordinates, and directs quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
Formulates and maintains quality control objectives complementary to corporate polices an goals. Provides inspection activity for product throughout production cycle. Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products. Creates and implements inspection criteria and procedures. Interpret quality control philosophy to key personnel in organization. Applies total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department. Works with vendors to ensure quality of purchased parts for company use. Plays active role on quality management teams within the organization. Designs and implements quality control training programs to key personnel in conjunction with managers. Designs, implements, and analyzes all concrete mix designs to meet and verify all required specifications. Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality. Creates and directs environmental test functions. Coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
Job Specifications or Qualifications:
Certificates, Licenses, Registration: PCI Training Level 1, 2, and 3. ACI Technician Grade 1 - Required
Education: College Degree (4 year) is required.
Experience: 7 to 10 (+) years prior or related experience is required.
Supervisory Experience: 1 - 2 (+) years is preferred. Requires ability to make independent decisions. -
