Job Summary:

The Case Manager is responsible for assisting and advocating clients and their families who need access to resources in the community. These services include but are not limited to linkage to mental health services, medical care, educational services, pre-vocational services, vocational services, rehabilitative services and other community services. The Case Manager also assists clients to reach their goals by providing rehabilitative, case management, collateral and consultation services.

The Case Manager is an energetic self-starter who is able to function comfortably in a team environment or independently and relates well to co-workers and County representatives. This position requires flexibility and the ability to manage time and multiple tasks. The individual in this position must be able to assume a wide range of responsibilities, provide timely responses to requests and deadlines and works well under pressure.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (BA) in psychology, social work, or related field, together with at least six (6) months of experience working with children and families.
  • Or Bachelor's degree (BA) in non-related field, together with at least one (1) year of experience working with children and families.
  • Or high school diploma/GED and two (2) years of experience working with children and families.
  • Or high school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience working with children and families in an Intensive Services Program: Wraparound, IFCCS, FSP, or ITFC.
  • Bilingual Spanish Required (verbal and written).
  • Valid California driver's license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization's insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours.

Position Location: North Hills, CA

Position Status: Full Time Temporary.

Salary Range: $23.39 - $33.77 per hour

Additional $2.00 per hour bilingual Spanish differential
