CSP Tech

Job Overview:

CSP Technician is responsible for the processing and distribution of supplies and equipment to all nursing care units, surgical services and ancillary areas.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year surgical or sterile processing experience

Preferred:

• Graduate from an approved Central Supply Program

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Current sterile processing certification national or international

Scheduling Requirements:

• Shift working, Days
• Per Diem
• Weekend rotation required

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for decontamination of equipment
• Disassembles, cleans, assembles, and sterilizes instrumentation
• Must be conscientious with regard to procedures and capable of working under pressure and interact in professional manner with other departments within the hospital
• Other duties as assigned
