Scope:

TTM Salem is pleased to offer an exciting and hands-on professional summer 2025 internship experience to engineering students dedicated to innovation and manufacturing technology.

The internship program is designed for engineering students who are currently in their junior year and will be entering their senior year during fall 2025. Interns will be assigned and own meaningful projects, focused on plant production/processes, Industry 4.0, mechanical automation and/or 9CI (Continuous Improvement) elements.

TTM values the student perspective and welcomes ingenuity, creativity, and diversity. Interns are supported throughout the program by our leading engineering team with a collaborative goal of providing real-world engineering experience that contributes to the student's professional goals and makes a significant impact to our operations.

While an offer of employment is not guaranteed, TTM has a history of extending early offers of employment upon graduation to interns who successfully complete the program.

Program Details:

  • Each 10-12 week summer internship will include 1 major and up to 2 minor projects.

  • During the internship, the student will work a full-time schedule on-site in Salem, NH. The summer internship is a paid role with a competitive hourly pay rate.

  • Each intern will be assigned a manager and a mentor/champion to help guide them and serve as a resource for them.

  • The intern will design, develop, and implement their project plan to meet their project objectives, working and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Interns will practice their presentation skills by presenting project progress throughout the internship to both site and executive leadership.

  • The Intern will have the opportunity to participate in site training and team building programs.

Internship Eligibility:

  • The student must be enrolled in an accredited college or university Engineering undergraduate program (electrical, mechanical, chemical or industrial); coursework and/or experience in programming/software preferred.

  • The intern is preferably a junior who will be going into their senior year of college during fall 2025. Consideration may also be given to students completing their senior year or in a master's level program.

  • Student must also be in good academic standing and able to provide their college transcripts.

  • Technical aptitude is required along with above average computer, math, and communication skills.

  • Students who will be successful in this program will be motivated, self-driven, analytical, skilled problem solvers, and welcoming of professional development.

Compensation:

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Export Statement:
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
