Test Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Tests software following a formal automatedtesting method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms. Develops and analyzes tests for products and systems. Collaborates with other engineering departments when necessary. Applies advanced theories, principles and concepts. Contributes to development of new principles and concepts. Leads development of solutions to highly complex problems. Performs baseline, integration, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts.Analyze large log data sets and software test data while documenting results in a clear and concise manner. Create test documents such as test plans, requirements verification traceability matrices, and test summary reports, and provide analysis of test procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in software manual and automated testing

• 2+ years of experience with government contracts

• Experience with using and developing scripts in Python and creating regular expressions for searching data sets

• Experience with integrating new and old technologies into existing network configurations and test beds

• Experience with creating scenarios that support the creation of test cases and analysis of procedures

• Ability to manage discrepancy reports identified during testing

• Ability to develop, build, and test multiple lab environments using various telephony and networking hardware following formal testing methods

• Ability to set priorities and rearrange schedules to address unexpected issues, and perform baseline, unit or integration, component, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelors degree

Additional Qualifications

• Knowledge of Jenkins or other Continuous Integration Frameworks

• Knowledge of PyTest automation frameworks

• Knowledge of SPLUNK

• Knowledge of working in a Linux environment

• Knowledge of working in an Agile environment

Clearance:
