Responsibilities and Expectations:

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Financial Analyst to help support our financial reporting, consolidation, planning, and forecasting processes for the Power Management Division. The Financial Analyst will work at IPS Headquarters in Greenville, SC. Under general direction, the Analyst will develop and interpret financial and operational information for analysis to financial, operations, and executive management teams and will report directly to the Sr. Financial Analyst for Power Management.

  • Work closely with the Sr. Financial Analyst to interpret and analyze financial data
  • Provide financial budgeting and detailed analysis of actual results versus planned and forecast budgets
  • Maintain IPS's consolidation and planning platform
  • Special projects are an integral part of this position
  • Work closely with the management team in overall financial support of Operations
  • Prepare and present key executive summary analysis to Finance and Executive leadership
  • Prepare and present forecasts, reporting and analysis, including, but not limited to 1) detailed P&L reviews, 2) continual review of current processes to identify and implement improvements, and 3) provide insight and recommendations for cost savings or profitability improvement strategies

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 1-2 years' experience as a Financial Analyst, or similar role, preferred
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and be detail oriented
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior working experience with Microsoft Office / Excel (i.e., vlookups, pivot tables, if then statements, etc.) preferred
