SUMMARY

This position supports the US Sales team and the Customer Service team, responsible for coordinating and ensuring that default pricing tables are maintained accurately, deals, rebates, and quotations are approved and maintained according to company policy. Researches and resolves customer disputes through pricing credits and/or claims, managing credits in ERP system and bolt-on web-based application. Responsible for assisting Pricing Supervisor and the other Customer Service coordinators on the team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Interfaces with sales, finance, customer service, and customers in determining eligibility requirements for customer for rebates, deals, returns, and miscellaneous requests.

  • Help resolve and communicate to internal and external customers on disputes and deductions related to pricing.

  • Audit and provide resolution management of product, service, and warranty claims. Prepare check requests or credit memos to finalize resolution and assure support documentation is associated to documents.

  • Act as primary contact for Sales Teams for assigned regions regarding Pricing, Claim Resolution, AR Issues, and all other issues as pertains to Order to Cash processes.

  • Provide support to pricing team with pricing increases, pricing issues, low margin reports and updates to customer pricing.

  • Set up, maintenance, and programming customer pricing in ERP and bolt-on application.

  • Verifies request for pricing change or special deal falls within company policies and has proper approvals.

  • Ensures entries meet system needs, monitors error reports and fixes.

  • Review and resolution of Billing Block items; assure that all items shipped are invoiced in the same accounting period.

  • Participate in miscellaneous projects for Pricing, Sales and Finance.

  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure SOX compliance.

  • Must be capable of handling multiple assignments concurrently.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree or equivalent work experience preferred

  • Pricing experience

  • Proficient Microsoft Office and E-mail, Excel, Adobe Pro. Preferred proficient in use of JDE software.

  • Strong problem solving, attention to detail, written and verbal skills.

  • Uses critical thinking and able to communicate viewpoint effectively.

  • Handle confidential information.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk, type, and hear.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Working ranges from regular evening and weekend work. General office environment.Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.
