Program Analyst Be the Difference Astrion offers comprehensive services that boost preparedness, optimize performance, and ensure success across various domains, from Cyber to Digital, Mission and Systems, servicing our nation's Civilian, Defense and Space communities. We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL and Burlington, MA with an additional 36 locations across the U.S. Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Program Analyst for the FAA - PSS, supporting the Civilian Division. JOB DETAILS LOCATION: Washinton, DC JOB STATUS: Full-Time TRAVEL: Limited; as needed REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree with 2 years of related experience, Associate of Arts/Science degree and 5 years of related experience, or 10 years of related experience in business/ financial operations and scheduling
- A minimum of 2 years of experience is required, commensurate with the educational requirements above.
- Ability to obtain and pass a Public Trust background investigation (US Citizenship required for all applicants)

A demonstrated flexibility of schedule and ability to handle last minute, short turnaround items. This includes an ability to quickly assess a situation or deliverable and then implement the most beneficial changes possible in the available time.
- The ability to rebound and adapt quickly to sudden changes in deliverable requirements or deliverable expectations.
- Thorough, detail-oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of Consolidated Automated System for Time and Labor Entry (CASTLE) and Knowledge Services Network (KSN) preferred but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform administrative and management support services for a wide range of office functions. Tasks include, but are not limited to, maintaining and organizing office files and records. Creating and/or printing labels, certificates, brochures, business cards, etc. Scheduling meeting space, conferences, telecons and assists with the associated requirements (location, hotel, space, travel options).
- Maintain calendars, assist with travel arrangements, receive phone calls and visitors; initiate office supply orders and manage supply inventory.
- Develop documents (e.g., briefings, presentations, memos, letters) and other materials, as needed. Perform editing, graphic services, and document assembly and binding.
- Control and track correspondence. Format and finalize letters, memos, and other correspondence, ensuring compliance with agency guidelines and branding. Receive, review, and screen incoming/outgoing correspondence for proper routing, priority, and POC. Ensure suspense dates are met, documents are routed for proper signatures, and appropriate copies are sent and filed.
- Serve as the point of contact providing and/or sharing guidance on coding of time and attendance (T&A) records and labor distribution records (LDR). Initiates and coordinates requests for new LDR codes. Coordinates with management on the final review and approval in the CASTLE system to ensure compliance. Review employee T&A records and LDR each pay period for accuracy and compliance with policy; directly work with employees to address discrepancies. Generate various reports for management, to include but not limited to use or lose leave, overtime reports - usage and trends, and LDR reports.
- Initiate and review procurement requests for equipment and other items to ensure local purchases, depot orders, etc. are conducted according to policy. Ensure justifications of requested items meet criteria for expenditures. Maintain an orderly supply room and distribute supplies.
- Serve as the point of contact providing guidance and instructions on travel based governing regulations/ policies; ensures the office's travel practices meet established criteria. Review travel authorizations and vouchers to ensure compliance with applicable governing regulations. Prepares and submits route path changes. Prepares travel authorizations and/or vouchers.
- Manage the organization's personal property asset inventory. Coordinates with other Property Delegates to ensure compliance with governing policy. Property Delegate duties include but are not limited to: creating and maintaining accurate property records; performing and verifying inventories; preparing reports of survey; identifying and initiating disposal of personal property. Review and analyze reports of survey to determine cost of property, identify trends and make recommendations.
- Conduct research concerning the interpretation and application of a variety of established rules and regulations. Assists in the interpretation and implementation of policies, procedures, and requirements. Recommends changes/solutions to routine procedural problems.
- Attend meetings and program reviews; responds to internal and external customer needs effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain documents and briefing materials electronically on government provided intranet.
- Monitor, track, and report on management and programmatic actions. Analyze actions for proper distribution, input actions into the appropriate databases, provides coordination and follow-up, ensure deadlines/milestones are met and report delinquencies to management.
