Waste Connections is hiring aPreventative Maintenance Mechanic at our site in Haltom City, Texas. This position has a 4:00PM start time, 10-12 hour shift, with occasional overtime. Responsibilities Include: Completes required paperwork utilizing the fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documents parts usage, and accounts for repair times. Ability to effectively communicate and understand service schedules and/or repairs General shop maintenance/cleaning duties as needed Equipment safety checks Communicate with drivers for issues in the morning and afternoon Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards. Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of commercial vehicles, including yellow iron.
