This position has an end date of 02/28/2027, renewable based upon availability of funding, work performance, and progress toward goals. The Project Manager will serve as the primary research project manager coordinating and supporting and overseeing the grant-funded Advancing Breast Health in Central Texas (ABH-CTX 2) program. The Project Manager will work closely with the Principal Investigator, Program Manager, all project staff, and collaborators. This position will oversee all grant activities and ensure that goals, objectives, and deliverables are met in a timely manner. The Project Manager will develop protocols, forms and tools for data collection and tracking, work with project staff to ensure recruitment numbers are met, and work with the data analyst to run or obtain reports for required progress reporting by the funding agency. The Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining the IRB application and binder and submitting any modifications needed. The Project Manager will ensure all data is entered correctly in the program database and maintain a shared folder with necessary documentation. The Project Manager will develop and submit abstracts to conferences and meetings and assist with writing manuscripts. The Project Manager will manage all financial aspects of the program and provide budgetary oversight. The Project Manager will coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take and disseminate minutes. This role involves working with a multidisciplinary team and community partners to improve breast cancer screening, health literacy, and overall health outcomes. Responsibilities include: * Supporting and managing a Central Texas breast cancer project. * Establishing relationships with external collaborators. * Collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data. * Enhancing community outreach and engagement. Purpose The Project Manager will provide project management, develop relationships with collaborators, manage outreach and educational presentations, offer administrative support, collect and manage data, and organize meetings. Additionally, they will maintain a centralized system for program resources, provide health navigation assistance, support program implementation, ensure protocol compliance, and lead data collection and analysis efforts. Responsibilities
Bachelor's Degree: Public Health, Health Promotion, Community Health, or related field. 5 years of cancer project coordination, community outreach engagement, and grant reporting experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Master's Degree: Public Health, Health Promotion, Community Health, or related field. 5+ years of community and clinical setting-based cancer prevention program coordination and oversight; community collaboration and network building, outreach, and engagement; contract and professional service agreement experience with agencies. Bilingual: Functional or proficient in Spanish. Program procedure and protocol development experience. Working knowledge of data collection and organization. Proficient in REDCap database development and management. Experience engaging with clinics and community partners. Proficient in basic computer skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment, and coordinate with colleagues at varying organizational levels. Experience with human subjects regulatory requirements and IRB procedures. $62,000+ depending on qualifications Working Conditions
