Job Summary |
The
COSAM Communications and Marketing team is seeking a creative and motivated student employee to assist with a variety of tasks that promote the college's vision, mission, and achievements. This position will involve managing social media, writing content, and supporting the team's marketing efforts. This position will require both independent and team work.

Essential Functions |
- Ensure COSAM's social media accounts are regularly updated with engaging content, events, and news.
- Write articles for COSAM Today, highlighting student, faculty, and departmental achievements.
- Assist with various marketing and communications projects, contributing to the promotion of COSAM's goals.
- Support the development and execution of marketing and communication plans.
- Assist in the creation of digital content, including graphics, videos, and other media for COSAM's digital platforms.
- Perform general office duties, such as responding to emails and helping prepare materials for events or campaigns.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Currently enrolled Auburn University student
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of Adobe products, including Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience with photography, videography, or graphic design.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and content scheduling.

$11.00/hour |
