- Serve as the primary point of contact for procurement-related inquiries and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Implement and oversee asset management processes to track and manage hardware inventory.
Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizen with at least a Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelors Degree with 12 years of experience or Masters with at least 10 years experience
- Proven experience in supplier management and contract negotiation.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with asset management and inventory tracking.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with government contracting and specific familiarity with Air Force Life Cycle Management Center processes.
- Experience with strategic sourcing and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Strong understanding of market trends and technologies related to hardware procurement.
- Proficiency in procurement and project management software.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) or contract management (e.g., CPCM).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Experience in developing and implementing asset management strategies.
- Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship role within a procurement team.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive procurement decisions.
