JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Pennsylvania State Harrisburg School of Science, Engineering, and Technology is seeking a candidate for an Academic Program Coordinator. The successful Academic Program Coordinator will be a detail-oriented and organized individual. This position will perform complex tasks with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily operational functions of the Program.

  • Monitor and maintain budgets, track expenditures, process budget revisions, and assist with budget preparation and projections.

  • Create and maintain confidential files, databases, and reports.

  • Compose written communication and proofread correspondence.

  • Schedule/maintain a calendar of appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries.

  • Coordinate and participate in various Program meetings, and record and transcribe minutes.

  • Communicate with students to promote program-specific opportunities including workshops, organizations, internships, and career development opportunities; collaborate with faculty and program staff to develop marketing materials.

  • Coordinate the hiring process for program part-time employees and student workers.

  • Support the School of Science, Engineering, and Technology with school events and other duties as needed.

Education:

  • High School diploma

  • Or higher plus two years of related experience

  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$38,300.00 - $55,500.00

The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
