Your Day-to-Day:

As a Facilities Support Lead/Supervisory Engineer under the Operating Plants Mechanical Systems group, you will have the opportunity to:



  • Act as Project Engineering Manager (PEM) for a variety of engineering projects in support of Westinghouse facilities such as Western Zirconium (Ogden, UT), Specialty Metals Plant (Blairsville, PA), and Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF) (Columbia, SC), among others.
  • Lead/supervise a team of 10+ employees and contractors at CFFF including time approval and professional development.
  • Identify resources within Global Engineering Services (GES) to support facilities' engineering projects.
  • Act as liaison/POC between facilities and Cyient, including

    • Participating in weekly status meetings with onshore and offshore team, and bi-weekly meetings with Cyient management
    • Developing statements of work Cyient-supported projects
    • Review/approve documents uploaded to Cyient's SharePoint site (legal review)
    • Provide management feedback on Cyient performance
    • Peer check Cyient presentations for monthly updates to GES management
    • Develop bi-weekly Cyient demand forecasts
    • Facilitate communication between facilities' engineering/management and Cyient.


  • Provide input to GES' Monthly Operations Report (MOR)
  • For some facilities, provide support to the WEC Site Access Program.
  • Overall role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Setting day-to-day operational objectives for individuals or teams, ensuring that policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed.
    • Proactively driving continuous improvement and recommending alterations to development and design to improve quality of products, processes, and/or procedures, and contribute to development of new methods and processes, as well as their introduction and to change management.
    • Leads specific aspects of group-level technical training. Leverages thorough knowledge of Westinghouse products and solutions as a differentiator to positively impact customer relationships.





Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:




  • Strong business acumen.
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical (preferred), Civil, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering and Master of Science (M.S.)/Master of Business Administration (MBA) (preferred but not required).
  • 10+ years of engineering experience.
  • Ability to work with multiple functions to coordinate the flow of information.
  • Strong communication with leadership and general understanding of project management and financial models.
  • Several L3 competencies within the Global Competency Model; some L4s are a plus.
  • PE license is preferred, or ability to obtain within 2 years of accepting position.
  • Technical Leader Development Program (TLDP) Level 2 completed.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness.
  • Ability to work in an international team environment.
  • Ability to travel for 10-25% of the time.
