About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Development Governance team as a Senior Manager, Non-Traditional Business Development based in Miami, FL. The Senior Manager, Non-Traditional Business Development will be the Project Lead for the Grab & Go initiative, will lead the strategic development and implementation of this business line on a global scale, with an initial focus on North America. This position will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and integration across Subway's non-traditional segments. The role includes project managing a cross-functional team, ensuring operational compliance, and working closely with franchisees and vendors to optimize the rollout and performance of the Grab & Go business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Operational Strategy Development and Execution: Define and implement operational strategies for the Grab & Go business line, ensuring alignment with the company's global growth initiatives. Collaborate with the Director of Non-Traditional Business Development and internal stakeholders to achieve strategic milestones.
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, coordinating with operations, marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure successful project execution. Influence and direct team members to drive performance and innovation within the Grab & Go business.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with franchisees, suppliers, and external vendors to ensure smooth operational integration. Provide ongoing support and training to ensure the successful adoption of the Grab & Go model across North America and globally. Engages in contract and commercial discussions with the Legal team.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop KPIs and performance metrics to track the success of the Grab & Go initiative. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability for all project deliverables.
  • Compliance and Process Improvement: Ensure that all Grab & Go operations comply with corporate standards, local regulations, and best practices. Continuously assess and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.



Qualifications (some examples listed below):



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, brand, or project management, with a focus on QSR or food service industries
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional, global teams
  • Demonstrates a Growth Mindset, continuously seeks opportunities for learning and development, embraces complex business challenges, adapts to change, and remains open to feedback in order to improve personal and organizational performance.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation abilities
  • Experience launching or scaling non-traditional business lines within QSR environments and/or prior experience with Grab & Go or similar fast service models a plus.
