JOB DETAILS Base Pay: $22.00 per hour, plus $2.00 per hour shift differential Shift: 7 PM-7 AM plus overtime based on business needs DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a Production Team Lead, you will work supplementing direction provided by the line Supervisor in accomplishing daily production activities. In conjunction with the Supervisor, the Group Leader is responsible for providing the leadership necessary to ensure the integrity of overall safety, quality, and production systems for their assigned area. Individuals filling the Group Leader position may be required to change shifts or line assignments to support manufacturing operations.
- Safety
- Proactively seeks out, identifies, and immediately reports all safety issues and concerns to their direct supervisor
- Reports any injury immediately to their supervisor
- Monitors adherence to safety rules and reports exceptions to their supervisor
- Demonstrates leadership in the Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) program by performing BBS audits at a rate of 2 per week minimum and facilitating completion of BBS audits by line associates
- Maintains line 6S performance including work station checklist completion, audit participation and timely execution of countermeasures
- Quality
- Tracks daily Repair/Remake quantities, communicates repair issues to suppliers, and develops countermeasures to address repair/remake issues
- Ensures the execution of repair turnaround during the shift to complete both truck and floor dates
- Coordinates/provides training for line associates on the execution of Standard Work and line policies and procedures
- Pairs associates on the line to allow training opportunities while minimizing quality and rate impacts
- Ensures adherence to Standard Work to effect CFA quality performance
- Ensures that units are cleaned to meet performance targets
- Leads and/or participates in CFA quality investigations including CFA 1.0 review sessions and 5 before/after checks
- Monitors SPC checks performed during the shift to ensure high-quality and timely data entry
- Assists in the development and execution of plans to address deficiencies
- Productivity
- Coordinates job rotation schedule for associates
- Fills line openings as required to allow for relief of associates (e.g. BBS audits) or absenteeism Communicates daily planning and gemba board targets
- Updates performance against targets at each hour
- Uses the gemba board to document reasons for shortfalls, duration of shortfalls and enacts countermeasures to improve productivity
- Identifies and reacts to production bottlenecks and material shortages Enters MP2/TPM system work orders to address equipment issues Reports production metrics in production reporting databases as necessary to support Supervisor
- Leadership
- Maintains appropriate attendance, conduct, and performance levels of the position Leads by example each day in key areas
- Safety, quality, productivity, policies, 6S,attendance, and implementation of new processes
- Supports communication to production associates and supervision regarding daily expectations to meet targets for safety, production, quality, and other key measures
- Advises production supervision of associate issues that may require follow-up, reporting and/or disciplinary action
- Works hours as necessary to complete daily responsibilities

Qualifications
- Physical Demand
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Will require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for long periods of time Ability to move carts in and out of production areas
- Education/Experience
- A high school diploma or GED preferred
- One to three years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
