The UCSF Department of Medicine is seeking a clinical faculty member for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank in its multi-site Division of Occupational, Environmental and Climate Medicine (OECM). The role will include serving as the Associate Program Director (APD) to assist the Program Director in the administration of the Occupational and Environmental Medicine (OEM) residency, ensuring a rich learning environment and curriculum that meets ACGME requirements. Support for the APD role is 0.20 FTE. The faculty member is expected to support the rest of their time through clinical and/or research activities. Clinical activities are available at several of our outpatient sites. The Division of OECM includes clinical services at Parnassus-Mt. Zion Hospital, the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Our faculty enjoy diverse roles, staffing clinical services (including but not limited to employee health services and occupational and environmental medicine case consultation) and participation in education and research. Candidates must have a MD/DO with a current California license and Board Certification in OEM. A demonstrated interest in teaching, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $127,000-$197,600.
