If you want to work in an exciting and collaborative environment to solve challenging problems for our nation's special operations and intelligence communities, we would love to have you join our team!

We seek talented students who can help us build groundbreaking end-to-end communication systems to address challenging national security problems. We have opportunities to pursue a variety of technical focuses including electronics circuit design, embedded software development, field-programmable gate array (FPGA) design, web development, application software engineering, antenna design, signal processing, data analytics, and more. We believe in fostering an open, collaborative work environment and have opportunities across technical domains to allow for exploration.

As an Engineering Intern in the Advanced RF Capabilities Group, you may:
  • Assist in the development of portable communication devices and miniature wireless systems through printed circuit board-level circuit design, integration, and test.
  • Work with a small team of software developers to design, implement, and test software solutions for embedded systems or graphical user interfaces (GUIs).
  • Support evaluation, testing, and debugging through lab and field testing.
  • Contribute to design reviews, system integration, technical reports and informal memoranda, and presentation of work to sponsors and the technical community.

Qualifications

You'll meet our minimum requirements if you:

You'll go above and beyond if you have...
  • Knowledge in the fields of RF communications and digital signal processing (DSP).
  • Familiarity with laboratory test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and vector network analyzers.
  • Experience with Javascript and web application frameworks such as AngularJS, JQuery, or Vue.js.
