About This Role:

The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our dedicated team to help facilitate exemplary patient care and quality customer service. This position performs quality diagnostic x-rays to provide information to veterinarians for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of injuries and illnesses in patients of the Veterinary Health Center. Responsible for performing x-rays directed by clinician orders and in accordance with accepted protocols. Working hours for this position will include Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:



  • High school diploma
  • Graduation from an American Medical Association (Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation) approved program in radiologic technology.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of basic veterinary medical concepts, animal behavior and animal husbandry.
  • Ability to adhere to appropriate safety procedures.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and be proactive in assisting others.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in high intensity environment.
  • Skilled in time management and prioritizing daily responsibilities.
  • Skilled in interpersonal and written communication.
  • Skilled in basic computer skills.
