Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com The Quality Technician provides a wide range of Quality team support, primarily responsible for maintaining documentation compliant with company procedures and systems. Additionally, the Quality Technician supports the Incoming Inspection and First Article Inspection processes. ** This is a 1st Shift position on a 9/80 work schedule** Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Support the documentation control process including review and movement of change notices and procedures. Move documents between unreleased, released and archive storage locations. Scan router documents into digital format into the Docuware system, and store the electronic files in the appropriate storage locations utilizing detailed naming convention. Scan shelf-life material paperwork once approved by Production. Liaise with Production team to ensure proper sign-offs are in place prior to documentation filing. Set up filing systems as needed to support additional documentation.
Secondary Duties/Responsibilities:
Work closely with Production and Quality teams to determine product acceptability with drawings and/or procedures. Perform first article inspections using various mechanical and electrical measuring/testing devices. Document non-conformances and maintain quality records. Create NCMRs (non-conforming material review), notify responsible teams and participate in NCMR dispositions. Inspect parts, materials, components through incoming inspection as materials are received from vendors. Prepare and scan relevant documents from incoming inspection into the Docuware system. Assist in supporting the Responsible for calibration program including interfacing with calibration vendors and coordinating equipment submissions for calibration. Maintain training base/matrix for production level employees
General
Develop collaborative internal and external customer relationships demonstrating professionalism. Communicate regularly to team members and supervisors/managers regarding any suggested improvements/enhancements to procedures. Cross-train across the Quality team as necessary to develop cross-functional skill set. Comply with and support all department and corporate policies and procedures, included but not limited to safety, security, and OSHA guidelines. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to perform assigned tasks (many repetitive in nature) independently with limited supervision, and as part of a cross-departmental team. Ability to read and understand Production routers and other documentation. Experience with component and assembly drawings. Must be a detail-oriented individual with a deadline driven mindset. Proficient with measurement and testing tools. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Comfortable with setting up Excel spreadsheets for data entry and tracking. Adept at learning new systems. Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position. Ability to work up to 9 hours a day with flexibility to work overtime when needed.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience considered. 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing environment. Previous document control and inspection experience preferred.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
