Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Azure Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security for our applications and services. This role will be responsible for guiding the team in leveraging Azure services effectively, architecting robust cloud solutions, and driving continuous improvement across our cloud infrastructure.

The Engineer works closely with multiple teams at Medica, including IT development, quality assurance, business analysis, systems support, information security, database analysis, business partners, and outside vendors. Agile development experience is necessary.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in related field
  • 7+ years of experience
  • One or more of the following Professional Certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator - CKA, Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer, Microsoft Certified Azure Engineer, Microsoft Certified Azure Architect



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Broad technical knowledge is required, including Terraform, Azure Kubernetes, Azure Dev OPS, Power Shell Scripting, Java/J2EE applications and application servers, Oracle databases, Unix/Linux systems and scripting, and infrastructure automation.
  • Healthcare background is a plus



This position is a Remote role and will work remotely 100% of the time. To be eligible for consideration, candidates must have a primary home address located within any state where Medica is registered as an employer - AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, KY, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OK, SD, TN, TX, VA, WI.

The full salary range for this position is $96,000 -$164,500. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to compensation, Medica offers a generous total rewards package that includes competitive medical, dental, vision, PTO, Holidays, paid volunteer time off, 401K contributions, caregiver services and many other benefits to support our employees.
